Common Road.
A detached house situated on a large plot in need of modernisation
THE OPPORTUNITY
Multiple Dwellings.
By demolishing multiple dwellings there was room for four new properties in Common Road in Kensworth in Bedfordshire. By increasing housing density and tailoring accommodation to both first time buyers and families, the existing plot became a hub of homes and a community in its own right.
THE STRATEGY
Obtain planning permission for the construction of 4 x new dwellings under ‘in-fill’ policy
Resulting in 4 x two and three Bedroom terrace homes with large gardens
Which was important to retain in a village setting.
